Goth at the Office: enforced posture

The Infamous BlueJay recently made me a custom-fitted waist cincher. Yesterday involved horrible, excruciating pain through my lower back, thanks to the glories of womanhood. So today? Extra back support. The fact that it makes my outfit look better is just a bonus.

I've been known to use the leather corset in the icon for the same purpose. Underwear or outerwear depends on the outfit -- it would have looked awfully stupid over a chef's coat.
