Have I mentioned how much I love making skirt appliques out of t-shirts? Because I do. It is my New Favorite Thing.

Yes, that is a vampire bunny on my skirt.

Not the right markings to be Bunnicula, but I am totally going to pretend it is. :D

I trust you have read Bunnicula to Clovis.

Would you consider making a tutorial, either for here or for your website? I would like to do that for a shirt I own.

The next time I put one of these together (not counting the one that is sitting on the sewing table, half-finished), I will try to remember to take pictures and write up a tutorial. :)

Where are you getting the base skirts for the mods?

<3!

From Retroscope Fashions. The Gothic Lolita Corset skirt is a great base to attach things to. I also really like the Dolly Bustle skirt from them, but the Gothic Lolita Corset skirt is a skosh less expensive.

(I also sometimes make skirts that are very similar to the Dolly Bustle skirt, but when I work out cost of materials & time spent, buying skirts from Retroscope is usually my better option.)

You look fabulous, as always! You're so lovely, and your wardrobe makes me wish you were a size 14/16 so I could beg to be dressed up for a gothy night out.

Also, I saw this and thought of you: http://www.etsy.com/listing/90573358/long-pink-rooster-saddle-feather-pink?ref=v1_other_2

It may not suit your tastes, but I figured "It's several shades of pink, has a cameo, and is five dollars. Maybe Ms. Jilli would like it!"

Shoes!

Hello! Just found your blog and wow! Your coordinates are beautiful.

What shoes are you wearing, here? They look like a Fluevog Swordfish tip, but I haven't seen ones with that kind of buckle...

Re: Shoes!

Hi there!

You have a good eye! Tose are vintage Fluevog Swordfish flats, and I believe they're from from the late 80s/early 90s.
