First of all, Friday the 13th, whoo! (Yes, I'm one of those Goths.)

But MORE importantly, today is the birthday of two of my favorite people! Happy birthday to my darling [personal profile] kambriel, and to my goddaughter, Princess Tickybox!

Fun is fun and personally, I consider Friday the 13th like a mini Halloween!

(Yes, I'm one of those Goths.)

...Aren't we all?

Oh, by the way, you're the only other person I can think of who might be amused by my realization (a couple hundred meters inside) that the talky parts of "Lovely Money" by The Damned are about the Tower of London specifically. The second or so sign we saw was on, yes, an iron portcullis over a stream, and it said "Traitor's Gate." So my mouth automatically started in on the smarmy tour-guide voice with "Through this iron 'Traitor's Gate' the more popular criminals, those darlings of the crowd, were taken smiling into the Tower." And my brain went, "Ohhhh!" (The original armor worn by Henry had not in fact been coated in teflon so those greasy Argentinians who don't have freckles because they slide off their faces couldn't get their hands on it, but it was behind glass, so that was all right.) Alas, I realized that even if I could figure out how to fit this revelation into 140 characters it would be meaningless to most of Twitter, but I still think it's funny.

Hee! Oh, that's great. Thank you for telling me about your revelation!
