• black hoop skirt, hidden under a pale pink cotton full skirt trimmed in black lace


• pale pink muslin and lace chemise


• pale pink twist lace dress


• black stretch velvet & chiffon frock coat w/ black faux-fur collar


• pink velvet ribbon & black lace choker w/ a black & white rose cameo as the centerpiece


• antique mini pocket watch on a silver chain around my neck (family heirloom from my grandmother)


• hair down – no hat, no wacky hair falls, just straight hair


• oodles of black rubber bracelets on both arms


• the usual assortment of rings


• the usual makeup – black liquid liner, defined brows, black mascara, NARS "scarlet empress" lipstick (over MAC "currant" liner")

Would your serene Highness consider coming to Salt Lake and wandering decoratively through my garden? I could offer lemonade and shortbread cookies on the porch afterwords, with wicker chairs wide enough to accommodate hoops, and sweetheart roses blooming nearby (also an antique glass wasp trap to prevent nasty stingy things from disturbing you).

Also, I have a scad-load of iridescent glass buttons, in two different sizes; would you have a use for them?

I would love to come and wander through your garden, especially since I'm in awe of anyone who DOES garden. I'm terrible at gardening. Our back yard is a lawn with some trees, our front "flower bed" is filled with whatever native wildflowers (and weeds) have taken root there.

Iridescent glass buttons you don't need? I'll happily take them off your hands, oh yes indeed.

Or maybe not exactly like you, not so cute and fluffy, but nicely enough that people offer me the chance to walk in their gardens.

You would deeply envy me my new Tony Lamas boots with ultrapointy toes and a scalloped top(!) Cowboy boots even the fluffiest of Goths would love.
