Sooo, we're in the middle of kitten-proofing the upstairs, because we are going to release Vlad and Erzabet from seclusion at the end of the week. Kitten-proofing our house is kind of a monumental task, and we've accepted that no matter how careful we are, the fuzzy little terrors will cause chaos. That's what kittens do.

While organizing things, I decided to pull out one of my old lunchbox purses to use as a storage container:

Meet Nimby Lulu, my monster lunchbox.

Yes, I had Clive Barker, Neil Gaiman, and Caitlin R. Kiernan autograph my purse. It made sense at the time.

---

Yesterday, I was experimenting with mixing lip color from OCC Lip Tar. And wearing my fangs around the house, like you do.

The color is a mix of Tarred, Vintage, and Pageant.

Okay, back to kitten-proofing!

I find my adult cats cause plenty of chaos. Good luck with the kittens.

Sorely tempted to get a set of fangs, and wear them to a Sounders match.

Because I could.

The boyfriend definitely had a fanboy moment hearing Neil Gaiman signed a lunchbox.

Good luck releasing the kittens.

I also have a cat named Vlad. Huge surprise.

This is my surprised face. Yes.

Cat names in our household, past & present:

Dread Beast Trickster

Trinian (from the St. Trinian's cartoons, yes, I am a dork.)

Tzepesh & Ruthven (Tzepesh passed away in April.)

And finally, Vlad and Erzabet. No, no theme at all, here.

I, erm, have two lunchboxes signed by him. I should get around to taking photos of the other one, because it's signed by a *bunch* of horror and fantasy writers, and has doodles on it by Jill Thompson, Brian Froud, and Charles Vess. :)

All I need is a pair of fangs.

I'll see about wearing them to the October match.

If you need help with the kitten proofing let me know. I am free all week (Though I think boy has something birthday-ish planned for me either Friday or Saturday)

I luff your fangs - especially the placement. :) My natural teefs are a little fang-y, to the point where people feel the need to comment on 'em? But they are the maxillary lateral incisors, so I sort of felt like they were the wrong ones,on top of being self-conscious b/c everyone has something to say. Your choice of fang placement totally validates me. ;)

That is the coolest lunchbox I have ever seen. ^_^

Oh, I am jealous of your monster box now :3 That's just some awesome random signatures in it. Lucky Lady! <3

did not realize i was a fan girl until i saw that lunchbox with the signatures SQUEEE!!!!! OMG!!! Neil Gaiman????

Kitten proofing? Best of luck with that. I finally gave up with mine. there was NOTHING on this earth that was going to keep her from being perched @ the highest point of the room. i swear she is part jaguar - must be perched above all the heads in the room, or sitting on top of one.

Maxillary lateral incisors look SO much more movie-vampire than the actual canines!

Heh, yeah? I think True Blood (and Jillian of course) was the first time I saw 'em in the non-canine position. And True Blood teef are so goofy... ;)
