Well, the first important thing is that I convinced matociquala to drive so that I could wear my Pennangalans (http://www.pennangalan.com/boots/FW83.php), in which I cannot drive. As it was St. Patrick's Day, although Ye Olde Gothe Clubbe (http://www.thehavenclub.com/) was not observing it as such, I wore the skirt you see in the icon, and paired it with a sleeveless Vivienne Tam top covered in square black sequins stitched on cornerwise. matociquala had a black velvet skirt, a green silk shirt, and a dark men's waistcoat, and a glitzy green scarf. Alas, we did not take pictures, but I think we looked great.
The DJs were in Crowd Pleaser mode rather than Music Snob mode -- "Panzermensch" followed by VNV Nation followed by "Straight to Video" and it kept going like that, with familiar songs that it was not possible to stay sitting down for.
