Still sickly. But slightly better.

I won't lie, yesterday was miserable. I haven't felt that unwell in a while. At bedtime, I took two NyQuil capsules and passed out.

Today, I feel a bit better. I'm not coughing or blowing my nose every 30 seconds, so I'm going to call that an improvement. My goal for today is to make it to the afternoon showing of Watchmen, because we have tickets and ohmygod, I want out of the house.

stroppy_baggage has been the Best Husband Ever through all of this. He keeps fretting because he can't make me feel better, and apparently I have been looking fairly heart-rendingly pitiful over these past few days. But he's been taking very good care of me, and I am very lucky to have him.

Everyone keep your fingers crossed that I don't pass out in the shower, okay?

If you looked anywhere as pitiful as Squeaky Toy has for the past week then I totally understand Stroppy Baggage's worry. Trip looked pretty pitiful last week as well.

Poor boy has the plague AND a double ear infection.
