We just saw Coraline, and it was DELIGHTFUL. We're talking about going to see it again next week. It is the best sort of magical: otherworldly rubbing shoulders with everyday life, with a sprinkling of faint creepiness. Go see it as soon as you can.

Evon and I saw it in 3D at the Meridian. Absolutely mindblowing.

Yah. what he said.

And if you play Gaia online, there is a Coraline Maze you can go through to get button eyes for your character...

So very funny to see you after the show ... thanks so much for bringing it to my attention! The only parts I wasn't happy with were the ghost eyes saying things like "Good work! Only one more to go!" It got a little too video gamey for me in those moments, but other than that: A+!

Let me know how she likes it.

May take Trip to see it on my birthday if Rory's friend flakes on watching the kiddos.

It was pronounced "a little bit scary," but she thinks she might want to watch it again. She did spend the climax in daddy's lap, peeking out from between her fingers and squeaking, but then we heard a review of the movie on NPR on the way home, and she got all excited about it again.

I can't wait to see it! I may have to find the book and read it to Trip.
