I, er, have 4 unopened bottles of Beaver Moon 2005.

And 6 unopened bottles of Pink Moon 2005.

... What? Yes, I'm still going to purchase more Beaver Moon. Because I'm obsessive like that.

Don't know yet. I'm going to buy one in the next day or so, so I can compare it to the original. If it's the same (or really close), then I have until Jan. 16th to purchase more.

Torrey and my birthday! That's an easy date to remember.

Two or three. Depending on what else I layer it with, and how cautious I'm being because I FEAR THAT I MIGHT RUN OUT.

Even when I did, I was a scent miser. Because of sneezes and past Bad Mistakes where a little too much scent, a little too much sun, and suddenly, I couldn't wear a beloved perfume because the scent was associated with a headache. (Ah, Dolce Vita, I loved you once, until that heatwave.)

The first time I tried on a perfume in a store, the bottle was broken and it poured all over me. It soaked my shirt and I had to walk around like that for the rest of the day. Suddenly I can't wear any scent at all without being like, "can everyone smell me? I feel like everyone can smell me!"

i haven't bought BPAL in months and i'm starting to go through my collection to list on ebay. my regular favorite is Antique Lace and i plan to stockpile that one soon just in case. i'd hate to see it discontinued again. thankfully it came back before i had to pay much for it.

Meanwhile, I'm thinking of how I could justify BPAL to Nibs when income << expenses and I've got most of a bottle of Angel.

Even though I am a complete lurker, it cracks me up that as soon as I saw Beaver'versary I thought [livejournal.com profile] cupcake_goth needs this!

From: [identity profile] cupcake-goth.livejournal.com

I at one point had something like 12 or 13 bottles of it. When I like a LE scent, i get a little, er, crazy.

I hoard a few, but the Bakeneko (3) and Count Dracula (4) will be the ones to truly make me weep.

I am glad I read down...at first I thought you were speaking about wine and I did not see what was so funny..now I see the funny.

:) I just saw their e-mail after work today. The description of it definitely made me happy. Cheesecake and cupcakes, Mmmmm!

I'm excited because I finally got my e-mail confirmation on my last order. *excited*

Just doing the math....

Mkay, so if you have four up-opened bottles of the original then you have a about a year and a half/two year supply stored theoretically, yes? One thing to consider is that most Bpal only lasts about 2 years before it smells 'off' or just goes bad. I have several bottles of Gingerbread Poppet that went rancid that I need to throw out and they are just about 3 years old. So! The old bottles you have horded may not last as long as you had anticipated. Just food for thought.

~Leigh Ann...who is a horrid enabler, I know. But, but...it's Beaver Moon '05! We must hord in mass. (Not sure what the correct spelling of 'hord' is but 'hoard' and 'horde' as spell check suggested looked off)

Good for you! I'll have payment for the bpal you got me on Saturday.

Makes total sense to me! When you find a scent that makes people want to huff your skin then stocking up is a Good Thing (tm), since you don't want to be a victim of it being discontinued.

Just wandered over her to see if you saw that update!

If you want to save on shipping and get in on my order, let me know. That will make me get off my butt to bring you the rest of the jars.

From: [identity profile] cupcake-goth.livejournal.com

I would be delighted to join in on your order, thank you! I only want to order one bottle of Beaver Moon at first, so I can double-check the scent matching w/ BM2005.

From: [identity profile] brumbjorn.livejournal.com

Sounds good! I'll add a test bottle to my order for you :)

BPAL

Dear cupcake Goth, What is Bpal? You mention it often, but I have no idea what it is.
