Dear anyone I should have replied to and/or posted a comment to yesterday: I'm sorry, I did not have a functioning brain yesterday. Instead I had one of the worst sinus headaches I had ever had, and any brainpower that wasn't being used for trying to get through my work day was taken up with trying to decide if self-trepanation was a good idea. Let me know if I missed anything, okay?
Dear Brain: I gave you the night off last night, okay? Tonight has to be spent writing. WRITING. Not sewing, not reading, not watching movies, but WRITING.
Dear freakishly expensive skin cream with the cult following: Fine, fine, I give in. Every time I wander away from you to see if something else will work better, I end up regretting it. Thank goodness for eBay, tho'.
Dear people reading this: Hey, who else is going to the Vampire Ball? I'm very much looking forward to it; the event has gotten better and better every year.
Dear local people: So, is there anyplace on Fridays or Saturdays for a gothy-goth type to go out dancing that isn't the Merc? I really miss going out dancing, but I don't know what options are out there.

No Vampire Ball - it's birthday weekend, Wendy is the Friday of the Ball, and I'm doing my Big Celebratory Thing that Saturday. So in addition to me waffling, like I had been, now there's a firm kibosh.
