GIP, fangirlishness, and an observation about the kitties

ailleann23 made a nifty picspam thing, using the picture that is the icon on this entry and mentioning the interview where Gerard Way really did call his band "razzle dazzle cupcakes". And then smonsterbite made the LJ icon, and lo, fangirls across the interwebs giggled.

Giggled, that is, if we weren't too busy FLAILING AND SHRIEKING about the news of the upcoming US tour. No Seattle date has been announced yet, but you know what? I am indeed willing to go down to PDX to see them. (Yes, go ahead everyone, roll your eyes at me. I know you want to.)

The kitties. I'm working from home today, because of various appointments and large packages being delivered to the house. I just brewed myself a pot of herbal tea that contains catmint as one of the ingredients. All three cats are sitting around me, sniffing the air very intently. No, wait, Trinian (Queen of Fuzzwumpia and the Dumbest Cat Alive) just wandered off to paw at the side of a bookcase and meow in a heartbroken tone. I don't know if she is bewailing her lack of catnip, or if she suddenly thinks she's lost. I'm betting the latter.

I would be flailing and shrieking too, except that the poor boys NEED A BREAK! I do not want them to burn themselves out!

...especially before they announce any East Coast dates. Lord help me, I'm considering Detroit.

no, I completely understand. I want the boys to take a break and not collapse from exhaustion. But y'know, if they're GOING to be insane and go on another tour, then I will do my bit to show support and attend. (Because I'm selfless like that. No, really.)
