Someone just knocked on my office door. I told them to come in; it was a guy I'd never met before, looking very confused. I was NOT the person he expected to be in this office, apparently. (My appearance and office decor seemed to be especially puzzling to him.) Because I am helpful, I offered to look up the person he was trying to find.
According to the company address book, the person he wanted to find did have this office number. Over in building 6. My office is in building 10. So I pulled up the campus map, showed him where he needed to go, and waved him off on his way, perhaps a trifle more perplexed than he was before.
