The holidays were great - it was nice to see folks, and The Husband proved (once again) that he always finds perfect presents for me. (Angel bubble bath & lotion, 3! tubes of Vamp lipstick, an antique hat pin, a 1st edition Arthur Rackham fairy tale book, plus assorted dvds). My folks got me books and dvds I'd been pining for, and a bunch of kitchen gadgets. I now have a bar set. I suppose I should learn to mix something other than a chocolate martini.
Today, swarms of people are coming over for a social event. However, since the event in question is an all-day video game fest, I'm fleeing the house with Weaselmom and #1 Minion.

Why yes, I DO look even more like a crazy governess from some cartoon than usual. That's what I was striving for. grin

- b&w stripey stockings
- b&w stripey bloomers
- white hoop skirt under a black, lace-trimmed flamenco skirt
- b&w stripey silk men's-style dress shirt, w/ a black silk tie
- black silk frock coat
- hair up in two ponytails and covered by b&w wool dread falls, with the b&w regular dread fall worn tied around the two and draped over the center part in my hair
- little black satin bow hair clips that have silver skull & crossbones on them
