Firstly, [livejournal.com profile] stroppy_baggage is plotting some new designs for Gothic Charm School. (Ooooh, new bats, I hope!) Which, of course, will mean new merchandise, and a possible re-organizing of the store.

So! Should we leave the store organized as it is, by merchandise type? (clicky link!)

Or should we organize the store by design, which would give people larger pictures of the various designs, and then they would click those to go on to sub-categories of t-shirts, baby clothes, aprons, coffee cups, and so on?

Just about every retail site I've ever seen is organized by product type. I think I'd find organization by design a little irritating.

Way off topic: do you have [livejournal.com profile] domestinatrix's US mail address? I'm trying to send her dough, but the one e-mail address I have for her may not be current, and that's the only contact info I have.

I like it by design really. I think it makes a little more sense.

Also? You should totally have Gothic Charm School bags. Tote bag or messanger bag, I would love one. ::laugh::

The main reason we haven't done messenger bags is because they're only available in yellow, which makes me craaaaaanky.

But do you think that yellow GCS messenger bags would be good? What design would you want to see on them?

Yellow? Oh man! That's pure insanity. Yellow is the color of evil. And it's pretty random as well...

I don't think a yellow one would work... I think most people would want it in black or white. Hm.

Ditto that. If I'm shopping for a t-shirt, I want to look at all the available t-shirts and make my desicion - having to go to separate areas to look at each one would be rather irritating and non-intuitive. I say it's perfect as is. :)

Nope, yellow is not a good choice. Ah well... I do have another request though. The Crow quote t-shirt, we would love to see it available in black. I'd love one, but I'd really love to give one as a present to my co-hort at the front door on our weekly night, the bouncer. He'd wear it every week! I work the door and will be wearing the baby pink/black logo one in the very near future. Hopefully people will notice so that I can send them to your site. I post about it on my website enough! We need more Lady of the Manners in my neck of the woods.

Just a random comment, My Darling, that your Gothic Charm School never fails to please!!

I will mention the need for black "Crow" shirts to the in-house designer, and will let you know as soon as we make it available.

I am absolutely *tickled* that you will be wearing a GCS shirt while working the door at your local club. That's fabulous!

I am exceedingly ranty today, so I say leave it alone - organized by merchandise. Don't make me get the boar spear.

by design... I'm not going to GCS to be shopping for a shirt when my priority is the shirt. I'm likely to be shopping GCS because I want a cotton-candy pink fluffiness on black design on something-or-other.

Well, if I was to do a 'Crow quote' shirt in black, the quote would have to be on the front as they have not yet started back printing for dark shirts. I'd combine the quote in some way with the GCS logo. Would that still interest you?

That would be lovely. And it would show up rather well in the dim light!
