Not resolutions, but revolutions, which is an idea I've adopted from the very charming and talented
fashionista_35:
"As I explained last year, resolution was one of the very few words I mispronounced as a kid and for some reason, it stuck. Besides, I like it better. Revolution implies actual change rather than simply the intent to change."
Actual change instead of just intending to change? Yes please. So, the revolutions for 2007 are:
- Write more. Not just GCS, but other ideas that have been rustling around in the back of my mind.
- Get an agent and get a book contract.
- Keep making positive changes in regard to my health.
- Spend more time with friends, no matter how dire work deadlines may seem.
- Help plan and throw events of various sorts.
- Stop worrying quite so much. I'm not going to say flat-out stop worrying, because that's impossible. But getting caught in the "what if what if what if" loop doesn't fix anything, and I WILL break out of that cycle, dammit.
I hope that 2007 is kind and generous to all of us. Happy New Year!

You should talk to Michael Montoure - the press that published his collection of short stories might be a good route for a collection of Gothic Charm School anecdotes.

Don't make me turn into a yenta about this. I will-- even though it won't be pretty. Because honestly, I can't remember the last time I saw my agent get so loopy over a site and author prospect.
