I had just finished bundling my dye-coated hair on top of my head when a spider scuttled out from under a rack of shelves. I shrieked, and then started shouting instructions at Tzepesh, who had been sniffing at that rack of shelves not a minute before. "Get it! Tzepesh! By your hind paws! Turn around! Kill it! No, don't sit down!"

[livejournal.com profile] stroppy_baggage came downstairs, picked up and moved Tzepesh, and then trapped and removed the spider. He then informed Tzepesh that this was a black mark against his record as a mighty hunter.

... and then I sat around reading a vampire novel while waiting for my black hair dye to set. Where do I need to take my Gothy Cliché Card to be stamped again?

Hallelujah for another person scared of spiders! I do believe, though, ma'am that you are the one who deserves to stamp all goth cards, cliched or not.

I think your card is self-stamping, dear lady.

reading a vampire novel

That reminds me -- I saw the sequel to Peeps in B&N this weekend. Having not yet read Peeps, I didn't buy the sequel. Would you recommend Peeps?

I did, however, buy The Astonishing Adventures of Fanboy and Goth Girl. I haven't started it yet, but in reading the book jacket, I'm a little sad that it isn't about you and Pete.

Peeps was interesting. It was a clever idea, but I'm still waffling as to if I want to keep my copy or sell it off to Half Price.

I just heard about The Astonishing Adventures of Fanboy and Goth Girl. Please let me know what you think of it, because I'm kinda curious about it. But yeah, it does sound like it should be about me and Pete, dammit.

ACK 'PIDER!

I am also desperately afraid of 'piders. :(

I used to play with the things as a child. Pick them up, let them walk around me arms and hands.

There was a brief period in my pre-teens where I suddenly went to AHHHH!!! And ran from them.

Now I am... Don't look at me, don't move... (Glass over the top of them)... That's right... Nothing happening.. DON'T LOOK AT ME! Umm... (slide sheet of paper under glass and spider) Okay... all is good....

Release spider to the outdoors... With a rather hurried rush back in the door....

'course you're the woman with the top hat bedecked with a massive glittery spider on it. You're just using your mojo powers to summon them into being!

Use powers for good!
