He described them as a Gothic Lolita version of Rasputina. I would describe them thusly:

Imagine a theme park (like Disneyland), designed exclusively for Perkygoths.

Now imagine what the music playing on all the rides would sound like.

Now translate it all into Japanese.


... either you're immediately charmed by this notion, or (like [livejournal.com profile] stroppy_baggage, you think this sounds crazy, and not in the fun way. Needless to say, I adore them. Plus, it's great music to listen to while editing, because there are no lyrics I understand to be distracted by.

You have NO idea how envious I am of [livejournal.com profile] marc17, because he got to see Kokusyoku Sumire perform at Tokyo Dark Castle. We need to figure out how to import them to Seattle for a concert.
