Sooooo Tuesday, the day before my birthday, was Annual Review Day. With my new boss. (Not new to the company, and I've been reporting to her since about February, but this was the first review cycle she did entirely on her own without input from my previous writer boss.)
(I report to her because I am now Fully Integrated into this feature team and am Their Writer, other feature teams back off. Which means I have permission to gently terrorize my feature project managers, muahahaha.)
Anyhoodle, annual review. Boss likes to get lots of peer feedback and quote it verbatim. To sum up, I am excellent at herdingcats co-workers, am a dedicated advocate for our customers, and am consistently great to work with. (No one mentioned being terrorized by me.) Hellll-oooo raise!
The Stroppy One had run some errands earlier in the day. Once I was done with my review, he went out to the car, then presented me with these. "I knew you were going to do great on your review, you sillyhead. Oh, and happy early birthday."
