The Stroppy One and I got round 1 of our Pfizer shots on Saturday, yaaaaaay!
(Because I used the hashtag when I posted the photo to Twitter, it was shown on the big screens at the stadium where we were vaccinated; one of my co-workers was there, saw the photo, and gleefully tagged me in one of the work Slack channels. Ha!)
(Also, look at the magnificent Chiropteran Garden skirt! I bought the pink colorway during the very last production run of the print, so now I have it in black, pink, and ivory. Let me own those cliches, yes.)
I felt terrible on Sunday, but there's a strong argument to be made that it wasn't a reaction to the shot, as I was on day 3 of a migraine, a week out from my Botox shots for the muscle spasm migraines, and already suffering through a really bad CFS flare. Yay? I'm braced for shot #2 being the one that potentially flattens me, but I don't fucking care. Give me that vaccine! Let me go hug my friends again!
(The Stroppy One told me that once the waiting period after the 2nd shot is over, I can contact my favorite hairdresser and get a roots-to-ends touch-up of my color in celebration.)

Yesterday was the start of the colonoscopy prep food plan, which will not be much of a hardship once I remember to add white bread to the grocery list. The thing I have questions on - and yes, I've messaged the GI doctor for guidance - is that I take both Ambien and Gabapentin as part of my bedtime meds, for pain and lifelong sleep disorder issues. I am assuming I probably shouldn't take them on the night of the Great Cleanse, because I'm going to need to be awake for that, but I don't know for sure.
