(no subject)

 It's been a week since we got the Infamous BlueJay moved in, and it's been great. The Stroppy One was apparently not prepared for how much of an introverted hermit she is, and has been worried that she's annoyed. She had to explain to him that no, she is the type of housemate where if no one notices her existence, she has succeeded. We told her that she didn't have to take it that far.

She's still going to her bakery shifts. She interacts with no one because she's the actual baker, takes public transport at odd hours, and is obsessive about sanitation, so I am in no way worried about her being a plague carrier. On the really awesome side, she brings home some of whatever she's baked, because she's determined to constantly feed us.

i'm ... doing okay. I'm used to working from home. But I'm still beating myself up about not being really "productive" with anything but the day job since January. Yes, I'm trying to get over that mindset, but as we all know, that's not the way my brain is wired. At least I got the new GCS post published on Wednesday. But I'm just so "unreasonably" tired and distracted and and and. Yeah.
