If I'm lucky, I've got maybe two more evenings worth work of work on the ornamentation of the VMB dress. But it's all the hand sewing: a whooooooole bunch of the appliqué points need to be tacked down. Thank goodness I find hand sewing soothing.
My my goal is to have it all finished by Thursday night, so I have a week for last-minute dithering about the whole outfit. I expect to spend most of that time waffling over if I want to wear the black-velvet-with-matching-appliqués small tricorn, or if I want to suddenly make a giant flower crown.
