Today was a thrifting adventure with Rhias and Mal, the usual thrifting companions. If any of us find anything we want, yay, but mostly we do this to hang out and marvel at the things we find. Today's marvels included:
- 4 different Gor novels.
- A John Ringo novel, leading Mal and I to intone "John Ringo NO".
- The usual assortment of Anne Rice novels, all with cover art I already own versions of. And a copy of Belinda, which no one should read, ever.
- A chiffon blouse that had a normal sleeve, but the other sleeve was essentially half a poncho with a cuff? Mal said it was for someone who wanted to be half a Dracula; I reminded him that the Eldergoth Cabal voted against supporting half Draculas.
- ONE silver ballet flat with a gorgeous rhinestone buckle. Brand new, never-been-worn Betsey Johnson, in my size. We searched the store, and couldn't find the mate. Yes, I'm still cranky about this.
