Blood Communion: finished! While I did indeed liveblog my reading over on Tumblr, my non-spoilery comment:
That was much better than Realms of Atlantis. More plot, for one thing, and far less earnest philosophy. (AND NO SPACE BIRBS.) A plot with suspense, no less! Also, lots of gratuitous descriptions of velvet frock coats and lace shirts, which is part of why I’m in this fandom.
Also, the book felt a LOT longer than 272 pages. Yes, I was writing commentary posts every few minutes, but I feel like it shouldn't have taken me almost 5 hours to get through it. I usually read faster than that!
