Today involved:
- Giving Prudence bunny a bath.
I was pretty anxious about it, as I'd never submerged one of my fuzzy companions and left them to soak. But Prudence liked the bath, and even requested a "brightening face mask" so she could have the Full Spa Experience. (A small amount of OxyClean paste, as recommended by a bunch of the how-to-clean-stuffed-animals posts I read.) She spent the afternoon having a dry sauna experience in the sunny window of the Stroppy One's studio, and seems pretty happy with the whole thing. Clovis, on the other hand, has looked alarmed since the minute Prudence went for her bath. I keep reassuring him that he won't get a Full Spa Soak Experience the next time the dreaded B A T H looms in his future, but I don't think he quite believes me.
- Asked Twitter and Tumblr if there was interest in a monthly Gothic Charm School post of clicky links of coveting. The answer was a resounding "YES". So my current plan is to have two posts a month: an advice/tutorial/review post, and the Stereotype Technology coveting post.
- Which means I sourced and wrote up a post to go up on Thursday, then found (possible) items for the next two months.
- Started editing work on the next freelance project. "Reality" no longer looks like a word.
- Mostly survived the heat. Did I mention our house has east and west facing windows? And no A/C or effective insulation?
