Oh look, a lull in the editing work!

I still have no time to really catch up on LJ, so as always, if there's something you think I should know, tell me here or in e-mail. It still looks like I'm going to have to work part of the weekend, but at least I'll be able to do it remotely from home.

... It took me an hour to write this entry, in between reviewing and accepting changes to documents. I cannot wait until this deadline emergency is over.

Returning

There's a vase of lilies sitting in front of me right now.

In front of that vase is a white box full of zip-lock bags. The bags are full of very clean bones. The remains of Dread Beast Trickster have come home.

I'll always miss my Dread Beastie cat; nothing will change that. But, it's nice to have some part of him back in the house. Now that he's home, it's time to start looking for kittens. He'll be around now to watch over them.

... and of course, Trinian (The Dumbest Cat in the World) is roaming around the house, making her usual confused and excited meeping noises. She's a very sweet cat. Painfully dim, but very sweet and affectionate. I think she'll like having kittens around. She'll probably forget they exist from time to time and be surprised about them all over again, but it'll be good for her.
