While rummaging aroud in the Storage Room/Heap O' Doooooooom, I ran across a pair of high-heeled batcave boots. You know, the type that zip and have buckles all the way up? Bat buckles?

I bought them at a yard sale over two years ago. There is no way in heaven I would be able to cram my feet into them, even if I cut off my toes. They're *tiny*. The reason I bought them was because they were a dollar, and I am incapable of passing up gothy boots with bat buckles that only cost a dollar, even if they won't fit me or anyone else I know.

So I stood there, in the Storage Room/Heap O' Doooooooom, and had an insanely clever crafty idea.

I cut the buckles off the boots. I threw the boots in the trash.

The boots were thrashed. I only paid a dollar for them. A dollar is well worth now having 8 shiny bat buckles. Yay bat buckles!

Yep. Crazy. I'm okay with it.

Hand-made mini Moulin Rouge top hat!

Or this one from Fairygothmother.com.

Yes, I want a mini top hat. Yes, I've tried making my own using one of the doll-sized top hats from the craft store, but I wasn't happy with the results.

So many shiny things I want. Dearie dearie me ...
