Because while orange and black DOES give that "everyday is Halloween" feel which is always happening in PMB-land, PINK and black is not only much, much more perkygoth, but reflects my current clothing obsession.
I've always had a soft spot for pink and black together, but I'm REALLY starting to indulge in it, much to the head shaking of The Husband. I have a pink and black corset. I'm getting a matching pink and black skirt. I have pink and black bracelets. I made pink and black wool dread falls last night. And this weekend I found at a consignment shop a pair of pointy pointy toe boots that are black with pink toes and tops, with a red and pink rose on each side. Yes, they ARE cowboy boots. I don't care. They're adorable, and when worn with my usual huge black skirts, you can just barely see the pointy pink toes peeping out from the skirt ruffles. Kij and Weaslemum agreed that the boots are wholly adorable, so there.
So, if any of you happen to have pale pink clothes or jewelry that you need to find a good home for, I'll take 'em off your hands. *grin*
