I still want to make a goth rag dolly. I thought this idea might pass with sleep, but nooooooo.
After having meetings with my new test lead AND my new product unit manager, I don't feel quite as stressed out or angry about my job. So either both of them said helpful, useful things and were able to reassure me that others know how screwed up our product unit and are going to take steps to fix it ...
or I took the blue pill. I'm not ruling that option out.
My team moves to a new building next week. I don't have to share an office, hurrah! I get Thursday and Friday off next week while they move everything, hurrah! I have to spend the next week packing up and organizing my office, boo hiss!
I think I want to decorate the new office with more of an OldeSkool gothy style. There will still be fanged bunnies and little monsters, but I think there will also be more velvet & gargoyles. This is probably due to my looking at vol. 3 of the Gothic Lolita Bible more often then I probably should. But but but - bat-shaped chocolate cakes! Cookies shaped like coffins with little chocoate crosses! How cute are those?! Yes, there are those of us who were doing this sort of thing in '93 and earlier, but it's still damn cute.
