I just accepted the offer from A Very Large Software Company^*. The nice HR munchkin is going to be calling me this afternoon to talk about what the next steps are.

A huge, HUGE thank you to poetry_lady, who let me know that a friend's team was in need of an editor, and to stroppy_baggage, kijjohnson and alexiarnps for repeatedly talking me off the ledge about various things I was freaking out over.


Mmm, gainful employment.

Speaking of buying clothes from you, a while ago I bought a red, almost rust princess-seamed dress from you; I hope you remember it. It's pretty, but I think it needs a corset over it on me. My choices are black, scarlet, scarlet and black, and the new violet brocade. Would you be caught dead in anything other than the black one?

Hmmmm. Would it be worn primarily under club lighting? If so, the scarlet & black corset would work well. If it was going to be seen in something other than club lighting, stick with the black.
