Oh dear lord. They come that big? Demons!

Yeah, you do kinda need one. Preferably with a leash so you can take it with you wherever you go.

That was exactly what I told The Husband when he showed me the link. Mind you, I think there were hand gestures involved, and excited squeaking, but yes.

Now I want hasenfeffer.

And maybe a slice of apfelkukken.

Wow. Those are ... huge. I think my cate would even think twice about taking one of them on.

JZ was a longtime rabbit owner so she can give you lots of tips.

13 pounds on up is a lot of bunny! If minnie house bunnies chew through electrical cords the big boys can probably take down a table leg! :0 )

JZ says: "Don't let Jilli find out that it's actually fairly easy to harness-train rabbits and take them out for walks, because if she gains that knowledge poor Pete is DOOOOMED."

From: [identity profile] cupcake-goth.livejournal.com

Pete has wisely pointed out that a giant bunny would squash Trinian (The Dumbest Cat In The Universe) flat, because Trinian wouldn't be smart enough to get out of the giant bunny's way.

I still want one. Walkies with a giant bunny!

I had one! No one believed it was real. I used to walk it on a leash. Ah... I miss my Hazel.

From: [identity profile] cupcake-goth.livejournal.com

You had one?! Oooh, tell me more. How friendly was she?

From: [identity profile] heartsease.livejournal.com

Twas a he. Hazel hated my cats, which was unfortunate. There was no scrapping though, and because of his size he wasn't afraid of them. I just had to keep them away from one another. He was a very affectionate rabbit. He loved being held, but when he wanted to be put down, he let you know. They have... very respectable nails on the hind legs and can scratch the bejebus out of you. I kept them clipped as well as I could. I think it has more to do with the sheer power of those jumping legs!

If you want a very snuggly pet, I would recommend one. They are definitely conversation starters. They aren't affectionate in the same way as a cat, or dog, but you can tell that they love you.

:whimpers:

Did you see the Pirate Wench boots on Bitches? Waaaaant.

I did see them, and they're awfully cute. I also saw the black & pink rain boots, and am waiting for some answers from the seller about their fit before I hit the shiny Buy It Now button.

and they come in grey and black. ;)

alas though, I can never have one. Spydrman and Mickey are both highly allergic to real bunnies.

you know, bunnies will train to the litter box, just like cats. And they are quieter...

Oh my word.

Night of the Lepus is real.
