I am now the proud owner of a dark shimmery purple PVC Victorian governess outfit. Ankle-length full circle skirt, and a princess-seamed shawl-collar jacket w/ peplum.

It looks sooooooo good. And the seamstress, bless her heart, said "I took in the waist on the jacket pattern because when I saw you last weekend, I noticed you had lost some weight".

bounce, bounce, bounce

As soon as I'm gainfully employed, I'm putting that girl on retainer. Because she does FANTASTIC work, and has prices so low that I'm wondering how she's making a profit.

(I gave her a nice tip when I paid her for the governess outfit; she didn't look at the check when I handed it to her, so it'll come as a nice surprise for her later.)

I can't wait for the weather to get cool enough for me to wear it. No, WeaselMom, I don't think it'll be cool enough by Thursday. grin

Aaaaaand next> week, I will possibly have the black wool version of the jacket. Thus taking the place of the original black wool governess jacket that I handed over to have a pattern drafted from.

New clothes! iiiiiiiieeeeeee!
