A friend of mine looks like a very normal person (but for the dimple piercings), and there I am in the balcony at Death Guild last week with a friend who doesn't come out to clubs very often when Mr. Normal But For Dimple Piercings steps onto the dance floor in jeans and a tee-shirt. "Wuh oh," says my friend, "a tourist."

And then Dimples started to dance. He's been in the scene her for, oh, a decade? :) Most graceful dancer in the world. But if I didn't know who he is, I'd have thought the same thing.

I never understand why tourists get beligerent with us. It is, as you've said, not like we're the weird ones.

As far as I can recall, no tourist has ever given me grief. That's either because I haven't been around long enough or I scare them away.

LOL, maybe thats what I should do: since I got the *damnedable* title of ms gothic seattle, I should run interference between the goths and tourists! It is now my mission. Thank you, Lady of the Manners.

Do you want to set the timestamp to something other than GMT? Currently that puts it 8 hours ahead of Pacific Time.
