Gothic Charm School is now open!
It could not have been done without the talents of
leenerella (Web Goddess Extraordinaire) and
stroppy_baggage (King of all Graphics and Design); thank you, thank you, thank you.
So yes, new site. Go! Click! Read!

No, I shall never ask you if I am goth...
I am far to old school punk to even consider it!
Ah, the good old days...
Remember when Bauhaus was considered a punk band and Sisters of Mercy was considered an unique style of big hair glam?
Watching their old music videos makes these old assumptions clear, but I am glad the goths took them into their niche...
I remember an early Siouxsie punk show...
I still love some of all of the above groups, I happily place them in a goth category, but I'm ancient enough to remember their roots, or at least before the term goth flew around outside of a history and/or arcitecture class...
Anyway, not to babble, but, I love the site, the set up is fabulous, and your writing makes me happy to know thee!

And clicking the "Add" link.
You wouldn't believe how hard it was for me to find a username for the feed - everything closer to the name or easier on the eyes was taken.

*bounce!*
Hooray for site release! I now feel it is even MORE important to get back on track on my own web babies, horrid and neglected as they are.

I always enjoyed your writing voice, and now it'd back. *hophophophophop*
I think I caught a touch of the refinements you made unless I had simply missed some of the articles you'd written before. I'm so pleased to see someone voicing to a broader audience about the perspective check of not taking ourselves too seriously. To revel in the cliches and to do it well is more true to ourselves than to attack others for what we have done ourselves (for example, please pardon the paraphrasing).
