• Work is slightly less dreadful than it was, but not by much.

  • The Neil Gaiman reading & signing was quite fun, and sometime soon I will burble cheerfully about it.

  • The Gothic Charm School website is getting closer and closer to going live. Soon, snarklings, soon. [livejournal.com profile] stroppy_baggage has been feverishly working on the CafePress store, so if you want, you can go buy coffee mugs, mouse pads, light switch covers, stickers, buttons, or postage stamps. T-shirts and baby onesies will be appearing Real Soon Now. Go, marvel at The Husband's designs, 'cos I'm quite tickled by them.

  • . . . ummmm, what else? Still sleep-deprived. Still very busy with Stuff and Things.

Eventually, I'll post a proper update, instead of random lists. No, really. I promise.

Ooh! I want swirly bat lightswitch covers for every room in the house!

Quick note: Karin gave me a present to give to you.

Additional note: Eric and I would like some apples. Gina wants to make pie. :)

I miss the charm school and Miss Manners - was trying to explain it to someone recently, and of course site no longer there...used to keep me amused at work on crappy when the alternative was to slaughter a few hundred customers

I suspect the apples are past their best, but you can check if you want.

I forgot to say in b.org that the switch plate covers will look amazing in my bedroom.

And you did the honor student bumper stickers! I'll definitly be buying one of those.

From: [identity profile] stroppy-baggage.livejournal.com

Well, you don't have to wait long. The new site is just a week or two away, hopefully.

From: [identity profile] stroppy-baggage.livejournal.com

Yup, I actually mentioned it in b.org, Bitches post 6901 I believe. The orange one looks really good too because where the logos are gray on the b/w ones, it's a fiery red.

I like the art. I am sad about missing Niel.

Poo, no light-switch covers for the big square rocker switches that I have. Otherwise, I'd get ones for several rooms.

From: [identity profile] stroppy-baggage.livejournal.com

Yeah, we also wish they carried dual-switch plates. I will probably nag them about both options.

I've been meaning to replace my work coffee mug for over a year... perhaps now is the time!

you should drop a note on GR about the site and cafepress...

Cause the postage stamps are truly HOT. The designs for all are fabulous, of course, but the little legal postage stamps with you on them make me HAPPY beyond belief.

Fie!

FIE! Fie on thee and thy malific husband! How dare you dangle these...things...in front of Poor, Destitute, Unemployed (or soon to be) Me?!

How COULD you?!

*weeps disconsolately*

One supposes one must simply beg one's husband to indulge in bat-adorned lightswitch covers. The condo is so...Bellevue.

As I said, I've mentally bought everything. :) I'm particularly gagging over the postage stamps and lightswitch covers.

From: [identity profile] staxxy.livejournal.com

In further fun... I have pimped the store on my LJ.

From: [identity profile] stroppy-baggage.livejournal.com

They are a lot of peoples' faves actually but because it's a third party the cost of the stamps is expensive. I figure people may buy some for things that they want to put special postage on, but apart from that, not so much. It's a shame really.

GR is a good idea, tho'.

There's always Christmas...

Oh wait, we already have plans for your prezzie.

I didn't see that! Sorry, I was skimming because of work and saw the part of Voltaire and didn't catch the rest.

From: [identity profile] weaselmom.livejournal.com

Oh, those designs are fantastic! Must start populating my veal-fattening pen with mugs and mousepads.

Will I see you this weekend?

From: [identity profile] m-cobweb.livejournal.com

Squee!--real postage stamps. And I will of course require a coffee mug to add to my collection.

From: [identity profile] jonquil.livejournal.com

Your husband is just the best. Elegant simplicity.

From: [identity profile] stroppy-baggage.livejournal.com

No apology required. Just wanted to let you know that we gave you props for the idea.

From: [identity profile] weaselmom.livejournal.com

Heh! Now you know! It was a great and unexpected pleasure to run into you all tonight. I'll see you again Saturday!
