I'm all fuzzy-brained and sleepy, so really, I don't have much else to say. But I *do* like what I'm wearing an awful lot.

  • Extremely pointy-toe kitten heels that are made from a deep pink velvet*

  • Pale rose pink fishnets

  • Black cotton "25 yard" skirt (swoosh, swoosh, swoosh)

  • Black chiffon poet's blouse

  • Black stretch velvet & lace ankle-length frock coat-ish overdress

  • Black lace choker with an over-the-top, gothy-goth locket (from Alchemy Gothic)

  • Hair down, with no hat (and the next co-worker that says "You're not wearing a hat!" is going to get a response of me looking confused, reaching up to the top of my head, then saying "But I had it on when I left the house! Oh no!")

  • The usual rings plus one; when tidying up the shelves in the bedroom this weekend, I found my old armor ring, yay!

  • The usual makeup

  • And my "goth bling" braclet: black stretch velvet ribbon with rhinestone letters that spell out Perkygoth

*While out with [livejournal.com profile] alexiarnps this weekend, I found these shoes at Ross. Very pointy toes. Pink velvet, with little bows! It's not the usual pale pink I wear, but more of the color of dark pink peonies. They're *gorgeous*, and completely silly. They are easily in the top ten of my favorite shoes, ever (with #1 being my custom-made bat shoes, because nothing on earth is ever going to top those).

You're dead to me

You said the word "bling" in context to yourself.

Dead. To. Me.

*facepalm*

;)

Re: You're dead to me

Well, I am using it in a mocking way. It's what [livejournal.com profile] imflying exclaimed when she saw the bracelet for the first time. :D

Re: You're dead to me

I agree, I thought I would never hear the day of you using the term "bling" in reference to yourself.

*goes into shock*

Re: You're dead to me

Psshhhhhhh... I would say there are a lot of things about our Favorite Pink Princess that would surprise you then. ;)

*giggles evilly and scampers away*

Re: You're dead to me

it is important to remember 2 things here -

The Princess and I have been friends for a VERY long time, and we are very close.

Her saying things like "bling" in reference to herself are merely evidence that she is friends with Krass (speaking of folks from the way back machine...).

heh.

Re: You're dead to me

I was joking, in case it didn't come across that way. :)

I use "bling", but only for "blingmobile", those SUVs with whirly crome hubcaps...

I usually wear a black top hat decorated with antique black feathers and a giant rhinestone pin. That's the everyday hat. I also have huge, Edwardian-style hats, and a couple pirate-esque hats I've made.

I'm all over the Goth Bling like flies on honey

Now I totally have an idea of how to use the rhinestone "O M G" necklace I've been lusting over at the mall for months. Black velvet ribbon, duh!

Your bling's okay with me.

Btw, did you know that Converse is offering a "goth" pink and black sneaker? (http://www.classicsportsshoes.com/con-72208.html)

From: [identity profile] staxxy.livejournal.com

I think you NEED them. I mean, really, when was the last time you picked up a new pair of converse for yourself?

But then, we all know that *I* am an enabler. ;)

From: [identity profile] cupcake-goth.livejournal.com

But when would I wear them? I mean, they're gorgeous, but ... round toes? Round toes. I just don't know.

From: [identity profile] staxxy.livejournal.com

when?

well, how about whenever you need to do stuff in the yard or in the garden or with the tree?

for those "getting some exercise" walks around the neighborhood? (more traction and all that)

and to freak out all those same people who are stunned that you have *legs* under all those skirts. ;)

Bowling. Well then it is the rented clown shoes, but still.....

Whoa! Now these really are goth sneakers (http://www.converse.com/zproductdetails.asp?zcatid=2&zsubcatid=&zgenid=&leftnavid=1&sku=1K407).

Sounds great, however -5 points for no photo!

Gaaaaah!

You're right, I do have something very similar, in velvet. But not with pink lace trim!

Pink velvet shoes? ::twitch::: Were they new summer at Ross or clearance? Oh..why do I even ask these things?

From: [identity profile] cupcake-goth.livejournal.com

I *think* they were new summer stock. They're *awfully* cute ...
