The frustration when you know you need to find a therapist, but looking for one a month before the new insurance company plan takes effect. So fun.

... yeah, I know I need to talk to a therapist. Things keep getting more stressful, and while I know the things to do in order to help keep myself together, I should maybe get a top-up. I really wish my previous therapist hadn't retired.

Before anyone starts to worry (STAX), I'm okay.  I'm not at the edge or anything, but I do have at least one day a week where bursting into tears at the slightest thing is a possibility. Or to put it another way, I'm holding steady at THREAT LEVEL: BANDOM and haven't moved to THREAT LEVEL: EMILIE AUTUMN.

as long as your nails don't get involved, we're good.

*hugs* I am sorry that you are in an insurance limbo while looking for a new therapist. Do you know what your insurance will be at least?

If your new insurance will pay for Telehealth visits that can open up your options. During Covid my therapist started seeing patients from all over online and his appointment slots filled for months. He is close to retiring so I'll eventually have to find someone new should the need arise.

I'm sorry, that sucks. America is such a third world country :(
