 I think I am having problems or a crisis of confidence with my Vampire Ball outfit. I'm not happy with the blood beading. I'm not sure if I need to take the appliques off, reattach less of them, and add lots more diffuse beaded drops. 

The biggest problem facing me? Time. I leave for the event in 10 days. That is not enough time to have something new made, and I've put on enough weight/my body shape has changed that trying to pull something together from previous outfits would be very difficult.

I think it would work if you had something atop it that inferred like a big glittery gash or maybe even just a thick ribbon denoting a beheading?

Yes, I think that would grant context.

Barring that, maybe detach a few for a more sparse look.

I say this; there is just too much solid red and not enough drippy-ness on the collar. Less solid red on the collar and more bright red drips down the black front?

disperse them wider, and maybe farther down your body. if you do so at an angle it should help mask any body changes you are unhappy with. Knowing that this is not meant to be YOUR OWN blood tells me there should be less gore at the neck and more gore down the skirt.

Overall, I think the beading looks awesome!

In specific, I might leave just a tiny bit more white space, in among the red at the throat, but it looks pretty fantastic!

I agree with the strings of beads. Various lengths, if possible with a teardrop bead at the end, if not then a larger bead is fine

Yeah, more drippy splattery red was my thought, too. It seems more appropriate considering frash blood is quite liquid and gushes a lot.

I think you have some good suggestions in the comments and I don't have any to add. I just have to say, I would pay good money for a film in which you do away with the Twilight vampires.
