- This week has involved getting our legal dept. to sign off on a contract by, oh, end of day today. Once that is done, I will officially have spent $50K of the company's money. This makes me a real manager, right?
- I'm about a week overdue for my Botox migraine shots, and whooo, can I tell. But I get them Monday, thank goodness.
- The VMB outfit work continues. As soon as the Madwoman in the Attic is done with her current clothing commission, she's going to add pockets to the jacket for the outfit, and then I can place all the appliques and stitch them down. Then it's on to adding appliques to the white blouse, and decorating the hat.
- Speaking of decorating the hat, I am really tempted to get some black crepe paper and make a GIANT faux rose for it. I'm fending off that temptation until I have a better idea where I am in the countdown to the event vs. what is left to do.

HOORAY THE HOUSE IS NO LONGER YOUR PROBLEM!!!
I would say that running everyone's favorite most efficient meeting makes you a real manager more than spending, but yes definitely you are a real manager now
I have 3 large floppy sun hats that I bought on Wish to decorate myself. I continue to dither about what I wish to do with them exactly. I have lace and ribbon and flowers and sparkly brooches and rhinestones... I am considering doing tiny rhinestones on flower petals for at least one of the hats. I am also considering using the wide sheer lace I bought for skirts to have a sun veil on a hat (I was able to get some inexpensive 'table runners' during halloween, so they are like 6 to 8 inches wide and sheer but finished on both edges)
