- I looked at the forecast for next week in Phoenix. Highs in the mid to high 90s, Prayer circle for the convention center having good AC starts now.
- Relatedly, the Madwoman in the Attic has been making me a bunch of my now-usual dress in linen/linen blend fabrics. Why yes, those are my planned wardrobe for the conference.
- I know I've mentioned before that my company's customers are mainly law enforcement. It turns out we also have federal customers, like oh, the FBI. I will probably end up talking to some of them at the conference, and no, I won't make any references to Will Graham or any other Hannibal -related comments. I promise.
- I've been using the iron patches steadily, and they're helping with my energy levels. I'm kind of tempted to see what other of my supplements are available as patches, because I'd like to reduce the handful of pills I take morning and night.
- I decided to take care of two dilemmas at once related to next week's conference: I'm taking a bottle of Excedrin Migraine with me, because that will take care of the morning inflammation med AND the fact that I won't be able to get decent coffee at the hotel or the convention center. (Look, it was either that, or No-Doze, which I haven't taken since the 90s.)
- I have discovered that one of the worst parts of being a manager is that I now have to make PowerPoint presentations. Ugh.
