 Our NYE was incredibly low-key, thanks to whatever my mystery ailment is. (It's not getting any better, and I'm going to contact my GP about getting some tests to check my B12 and iron levels. If I turn out to be anemic, I will laugh weakly and demand to become a vampire right fucking now.)

So yeah, NYE was "flop on the couch, watch silly movies." Venom: Let There Be Carnage is even funnier than the first Venom movie, and I certainly see why the comic bro fans were so upset by it. Eddie/Venom OTP!

Yuletide author reveals! I wrote a What We Do In the Shadows story, Stakeholder Management, for the fabulous shrift! I won't lie, when assignments went out and I got shrift, I kinda-sorta freaked out because in addition to being a friend and someone I adore, shrift is a Big Deal in fandom! (Stop rolling your eyes at me, hon, you are.) After wibbling at  minim-calibre and figuring out I wanted to write about Guillermo being super-competent and Organizing All The Things, she reminded me that shrift is a fellow tech industry worker, and what about agile methodology? Things escalated quickly.

Guillermo would make an excellent Project Manager, and I'm also picturing how he could utterly destroy your project if you got on his bad side.

Hooray Low Key!!! Ours was pretty low key as well - we watched Exandria Unlimited and then a 40 minute video of capybaras at a zoo in Japan where they are super spoiled. It was very soothing to watch them just chilling under their mini waterfall (they get under the pour so it lands on their head and just enjoy it in a very zen way).

Good work with the fic! I did find one error, which I'm pointing out in case you're a perfectionist like me who always wants people to tell me so that I can fix them. When Guillermo's explaining the white board:

I hope you get to the bottom of the medical annoyances quickly.
