•  Good: I did indeed go to my hyper-safety-conscious nail salon (Royal Nails in Ballard, in case local folks want to know), and I know have blackened burgundy toe nails and black with INSANE holographic glitter fingernails. The main reason I wanted to go wasn't fancy nails, but because paying for the super-indulgent mani/pedi package means I sit in a massage chair for 90 minutes while my legs and arms are massaged until they're noodle-like, which helps with a lot of the inflammatory pain issues.
  • Bad: On Sunday an oh g-d pray for a coma migraine came on fast and hard out of nowhere, and all the meds I tossed at it only reduced it a few notches.
  • GOOD: On Monday I SAW DAD! For the first time in a year and a half! OMG I GOT TO HUG MY DAD. He and his ladylove are healthy, and as happy as anyone can be during this slow(ish) apocalypse.

It seems to me that everyone's health, mental and physical, is a bit dodgy at the moment. Mine certainly has been. Hope you're feeling better. :)

Could a trigger for the migraine have been being exposed to bright light? Sunlight, ambient lights while they worked on your nails or any unexpected bright light exposure?

Bright lights can be the cause of killer migraines for me.

Regardless - =hugs and love=
