Last night, after my back went SPANG! and I took a bunch of strong meds, while idly admiring how well the fancy cat-eye holographic gel manicure I got a few weeks ago was holding up:

BRAIN: wait, didn't they get that effect by putting some sort of sparkly polish on and then moving a strong magnet over it? To get the sparkles to align in that band?

ME: Yes. Why?

BRAIN: didn't all the MRI info we've read talk about to minimize risk wear no makeup because some cosmetics have iron oxides in them?

ME: ... fuck.

So after I file off a few layers of gel polish, I'm going to be soaking my nails in acetone to make sure I can get all the polish off. Whee?

if you can get to a salon, any nails salon, I am sure they can remove them for you. When is your MRI? you might be able to quick order gel remover from amazon as well.

Well, they tell you that, but I've done multiple MRIs wearing all my stainless steel earrings and been just fine. I will be really surprised if this is something you need to stress about.

On the plus side, your manicure has already lasted several weeks, it's not like you dropped that bank on Thursday last.
