- I did indeed WRITE a post for GCS last weekend. Longhand, in a notebook. So today I need to power through the looming migraine, transcribe it, and send it to beta readers so I can hopefully post it on Tuesday morning. (Remember when I used to work in the tech mines all day, then write things in the evenings? I miss that ability.)

- It turns out one of the Fannibals I know via Twitter is LOCAL (ish)!! We're making plans to meet up at some point.

-  Food-wise, I found a low-carb bread that is good toasted, so that's helpful. I also downloaded the carb tracking app with the best reviews, and I'll see how that works for me over the next week. If it seems like it's going to even SLIGHTLY push me into old bad habits, I'm deleting the fucker. But I need to try something that limits my hand-wavy guesswork about things.

- The DIY project I did the other evening: Hand. Bag.

That's an awesome bag! The ring on the hand is a lovely touch.

The bag is very cool. I think Aurelio Voltaire has done something similar? I'm not sure.

Great handbag. I have been counting carbs since my teens. Knowing the exact carb count to insulin ratio for everything I eat. The apps make is so much easier. Saving a meal so you can just click that meal is a time saver.
