Because Fannibals (especially on Twitter) are a close-knit and supportive bunch, when one posts that the need help finding quotes for an essay on Dracula, they've brain-locked on being able to finish the book, help? - word goes out, and then:

In other my fandom caters directly to my needs news: a few years ago, a writing duo I admire wrote a Penny Dreadful AU for Hannibal, complete with vampires. When I read the tags to the Stroppy One, he wanted to know if it had been written as a present for me.
