Tomorrow is the Stereotype Technology experiment: vintage motorcycle jacket* as outerwear with my usual Victorian-tinged vampire governess outfits. I'm pretty sure it will work. Also, pockets! I wouldn't carry a purse, but be returning to the glory of enough pockets for my stuff!

My only worry is that the leather jacket will be too heavy and do something related to the muscle tension migraines. But as the weight will be evenly distributed across my shoulders, maybe not?

* Meaning my OG leather jacket, and I'm never going to get rid of it. In part because of Eldergoth Nostalgia, but also because waaaay back in 1993, I met Neil Gaiman at the comic store signing for Death: The High Cost of Living, and he very sweetly drew The Sandman on the back of my jacket and signed it.

Oh wow, oh wow, oh wow.

And of course it will work.

I love that coat.

I had a very strange dream where you wanted to play with City of Heroes. The rest of the dream was perfectly normal but that just made it bizarre.

Your leather jacket and mine are about the same age, and except for the artwork almost identical. But I hardly ever wear mine anymore. When it comes to convincing people that I'm a woman, the cut of that jacket is unhelpful, which is too damn bad because it's a perfectly lovely jacket.
