Yes, I tried to get tickets to the L.A. show. I spent 35 minutes in the electronic queue hell on the AXS site to get the dreaded "This event is sold out" message.

The tickets sold out in FOUR MINUTES. Tickets were available on scalper sites 30 minutes later, with starting prices of $1200.

I am desperately hoping the possible tour rumors are true.

I'm familiar with your pain. The last two times I tried to get tickets for concerts, even with a priority code, I sat there refreshing until the second they went on sale, only to be told after I got through the queue that all the tickets were gone. It didn't used to be like this, and it pisses me off :-(

Wow. What bothers me the most about this, besides that it took 35 minutes of waiting just to be told the tickets were gone, is that obviously a lot of those tickets that sold in four minutes were sold to people who had no intention of attending the show, but bought tickets solely to extort people who do. That is shitty.

I do hope there will be a tour, so that more people can see the band, so that YOU can see the band, and so that the mercenary scalpers will be thwarted!
