What would you wear with it? Not 'ideally' but what do you already have in your closet that you would actually wear with it, and under what circumstances would you be wearing this jacket (beyond the obvious 'cooler weather')?

I was going to say "no" until I saw this comment. If you've imagined five different outfits around it, then you are looking forward to wearing it! :D I was projecting with my "no," anyway. I bought a "dusty rose" pink dress on a whim earlier this summer and have already decided, after one wearing, that it's not for me. Maybe if it had had a black collar, or black buttons...
If I got a hand-dyed rainbow silk skirt with a multi-colored leather waist, would I wear it to feel it justified the considerable expense? I think the answer in both cases is probably yes because I'm here to enable us both.

SUPER minimal modifications. Less than an evening’s worth, actually. (I have the exact jacket in wine velvet, so I know what alterations it needs.)
