Today's important question: what are my chances of finding a knee-length black linen or cotton duster that's full enough for my usual skirts, and that I can quickly alter to add frog closures or buttons AND lacing in the back to make it more of an hourglass shape? Along Lagenlook lines, but leaning more toward Edwardian witch.
More importantly, what are my chances of having it in my hands by the middle of next week, so I can alter it and have it and ready to go by Sunday the 4th?
(I'm being sent to the main Arizona HQ for 24 hours for new employee hijinks at my new company. ARIZONA. Yes, everything will be air-conditioned, but I don't want to take any chances.)

There's also this with a hood and made to asian sizes (I'd start with a 4x for myself, so...) and a mens variation

There also might be something on Etsy - Silk sarees and dupattas from India are a nice alternative to cotton and linen, but those usually take close to a month to arrive unless you pay for rush shipping. OTOH, there claim to be a few edwardian dusters in the search results, so might be worth a look after all?
