Game of Thrones spoilers, predictable if you know me. 

• Lyanna Mormont was given the most triumphant battle death, AS SHE DESERVED. 
• ARYA STARK IS THE BEST, I DON'T CARE IF A FEW PEOPLE THINK THAT MOMENT WAS TOTAL FAN SERVICE. I now don't care about the rest of the series, I was given the best narrative conclusion

Why am I so gleeful about Arya, besides her being a tiny badass? The actress looks uncannily like the eldest godchild. The resemblance was more pronounced in the early seasons, but it's still strong enough that I refer to the character as Arya Tickybox Stark.

Murderous and competent little girls are my narrative catnip.

When I read the first book, long before the series, I saw Arya as the main protagonist. Thus, it simply makes perfect sense to me that it would be her.

Thanks for putting this under a cut, as I didn't see the episode until last night.

Arya IS the best. The greatest of all time. She's done that two-handed kill move before but I was screaming anyway. And I was gratified that Lyanna Mormont went out throwing knives and felling giants all the way to the end.
