Thank you to everyone who reminded me that there's no shame in doing what needs to be done to take care of oneself, including shopping choices that reduce effort. Once again, this is a concept I understand as it applies to other people, but giving myself that same understanding? Well, yeah. We all know I'm historically bad at that.
That discussion also made me think about one of the things my seemingly encyclopedic memory of goth fashion is good for: calling out design theft (when asked, or when someone posts a link to an item on my FB) by certain international companies that are big in the nu-goth and Instagram goth communities, and pointing people at the original artist.
